IASH (Integration of water, sanitation and hygiene at Marco Aurelio Soto school in El Paraiso, Honduras.

Agua Pura para el Mundo, team members recently brought together students, parents, and teachers for a meaningful community gathering as part of our ongoing WASH program. This event marks a special milestone: not only are we celebrating the progress in constructing new, inclusive bathroom facilities and WASH in schools training program but we are also preparing to commemorate Menstrual Hygiene Day on May 28th, reinforcing the importance of health, dignity, and education for all.

Thanks to generous contributions channeled through CAF America—a U.S.-based nonprofit that facilitates safe, tax-deductible international giving—we successfully launched Phase One of the WASH initiative. These funds have enabled significant improvements in sanitation infrastructure for the school. Looking ahead, we are seeking further support to complete the next phase, which includes the installation of a safe water storage tank and filter. We’re proud to work hand-in-hand with the school community to promote sustainable access to clean water and hygiene education.
